Franck Ribery will not Play in Champions League final
May 18th, 2010

Franck Ribery is not playing in the Champions League final.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport sent away his plea against a three-match European ban, meaning the Bayern Munich star will sit out Saturday’s clash against Inter Milan.
Ribery was sent off in Bayern’s semi-final first-leg against Lyon for a irresponsible tackle on Lisandro Lopez.

CAS said in a declaration that their reasons for the choice will be published ‘in a few days’.
The final at Real Madrid’s Bernabeu stadium would have likely been a send-off appearance for the 26-year-old.

The Chelsea goal has refused to entrust to a new contract at Bayern despite months of the Bundesliga giants calling for a choice.
Ribery now says a result is likely to come after the World Cup,with Real Madrid and Barcelona thought to be in front of Barclays Premier League champions in the race to sign him.
‘I still do not know if I will continue or leave,’ he said at the weekend. ‘The probabilitys are 50 per cent. I expect that my future is known at the end of the World Cup in South Africa.’

Spain 1 Germany 0 – I personally was on the side of the germans, but you have to admit spain had a superior game. If the world can see just one more command performance from spain, if they can bamboozle Holland in the same grand manner on Sunday we will have new world champions!
