The FA Cup is the most prestigious knock-out cup competition in the world, all Premier League,  Non League and League teams compete to be crowned winners.

The FA Cup is the most exciting competition as it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the competition and even theoretically win the Cup.

Last season the winners Manchester City beat Stoke City 2-1. This season Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal will all be strong contenders to win the FA Cup. The winners of the FA Cup then play the Premier League Champions in the Community Shield which takes place in the beginning of August. This season Manchester United beat their noisy bankrolled neighbours Manchester City 3-2 in one of the most memorable Charity Shield games in recent years.
